The Rise Of Sivagami- A Look Into The World Of Baahubali: ED Poster Series

-

Baahubali is a universe in and of itself, with it having amassed not just regional fan-base but national and even international too, it has cemented itself in the history of Indian cinema as an epic.

I myself am a major fan of this movie and cannot wait for April 28th when Baahubali- The Conclusion will finally release.

But in the meantime, ED was invited as media for the book launch of Baahubali’s prequel, The Rise of Sivagami authored by Anand Neelakantan.

The book charters the origins and journey of Sivagami and how exactly did she reach the place which we saw her in the movies. We also see a more in-depth look at fan-favourites like Katappa with about 40 other new characters and a self devised vocabulary that was taken from Telugu, Tamil and Sanskrit.

The launch, was attended by not just the author of the book, but also S.S. Rajamouli, director of the Baahubali series, Rana Daggubati and Ramya Krishnan who essay the roles of Bhallala Deva and Sivagami respectively along with the producer of the movie Shobhu Yarlagadda.

At the event, apart from getting some pretty awesome selfies with the star cast, we even got a sneak peek into the world of Baahubali and the book prequel.

This poster series recounts some of the statements that either resonated with us or surprised us:
