The movie Padmavati or Padmaavat has been in controversy since last year when Sanjay Leela Bhansali was attacked by Rajput outfits. Many claimed that the Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh starrer movie portrays Rani Padmini in an indecent light.
Even after going through a screening process at CBFC, High Court and Supreme Court, the protests weren’t put away and escalated immensely.
The question stands: who was really behind it? Was it funded by a political party?
