While destination weddings have become a common option for several Indian couples, the converse is happening, too- there are foreign couples who come all the way to colourful, vibrant India to tie the knot!
One such couple are Chiharu Obata and Yuto Ninaga from Tokyo, Japan. Obata has been studying Tamil linguistics for the past four years, and has developed a deep love and attachment for the Tamil culture- so much so that she even wanted to get married Tamil style!
With the help of a couple of Tamil friends settled in Tokyo, Obata planned an elaborate, traditional Tamil wedding in Madurai– the Temple City of Tamil Nadu.
