Here is a personal experience that will tell you the reason behind this blog:
For the past several years, I have played basketball, which in India, is mostly played on a cemented court. That alone is enough to cause a lot of ortho troubles.
To start with, I did not let my fractured ankle heal, and three years later, I fractured the same ankle again, this time with a complete ligament tear too.
About 5 years back, I observed lower back ache and thought it would go away on its own, but it didn’t. It is so severe now that I can hardly move whenever the spasm occurs.
Due to lack of knowledge of self-care, I now have shin bone pain too. Believe me, it is something that can spoil your whole day.
I saw a lot of my juniors and peers making the same mistakes during team practice, hence this blog.
Here is a list of the most commonly made mistakes by people who workout or play any sport. These mistakes can easily be avoided by being cautious of proper form, technique and proper workout gear.
These injuries seem to be small at first, but can prove to be so serious that some need surgery.
