TVF Comes Up With A New Web Series About Sibling Relationships: This Is What You Needed For Raksha Bandhan!

-

TVF who are known for their original and refreshing content have come up with another interestingly crazy idea. Well, they came up with a perfect Raksha Bandhan treat to celebrate siblinghood!

Siblings are not really those people you imagine being your cool-selves with. You have a certain love-hate relationship with them that makes it difficult to survive with them after a certain point.

Now this uncomfortable space is where TVF enters with their new web series beginning on 28th August 2016. It is about three siblings reluctantly going for a road trip.

Road trips with friends has almost become a prominent feature on people’s bucket list after Dil Chahta hai, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani or Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

But have you ever imagined going on one with your siblings?

Nah!

The cast of the show features popular faces from TVF’s previous ventures like Permanent Roommates and Pitchers, namely – Sumeet Vyas and Manvi Gagroo. Also featuring immensely talented actors like Amol Parashar, Kunal Kapoor and Shernaz Patel.

From the trailer of the series, one can sense a certain Bollywood-y approach given to the series with the picturesque landscapes, the larger than life camera movements and scenes showing the trio stopping and dancing in the middle of nowhere with their car parked and a fire lit beside them.

Watch the trailer here.

Jump-Cut.
The nerve-racking and World War 3 level fights among the siblings for no reason at all.

Now since it is TVF, it adds its subtle elements of humour to the plot with the sort of names chosen for the three main characters. Chandan, Chanchal Chitvan to be exact!

Then comes the undertone of sibling relationships where Chandan says, “Itna koi gehra pyaar nahi hai hum logon ke beech mein. Ye situational comedy ho rahi hai is vajah se hum log saath mein hain.”

He touched a very delicate chord right there. And you know it from here that this is not simply the ‘phoolon ka taaron ka’ hogwash everytime between the siblings. There are various shades and dynamics to this relationship.

Flowing against the tide as it always does, TVF again comes up with a certain dialogue where Chitvan is trying to relax a certain tension between the three and he says, “Let it go. Har problem baat cheet se resolve nahi ho sakti.” This approach is one of the few reasons I love TVF. They do not fear to explore the deeper dynamics of relations and unsaid norms.

However, they are not rebels without a cause. They break barriers wherever necessary. They do establish, in certain instances, the importance and love that a family shares.

Now how this road trip brings the three siblings closer to each other is what we have to find out!

Kudos to TVF!

And HAPPY RAKSHA BANDHAN everyone!
