#PartnerED

Atulyakala is back with their iconic yearly event- The HEAR+ART Project. The Hear + Art Project is scheduled to be held on February 15th 2020 from 11 am to 5 pm.

Hear+Art is the basic idea behind this initiative where in the event would like to break the ice and bridge the gap between the deaf and hearing communities by involving them in creating art! The event believes in the capabilities of the Deaf community of India. And the goal of the event is to design a better future where we interact, learn, share & create together.

Since the team behind the Hear + Art Project wanted to setup this event at a venue conducive of art in the city of New Delhi that decided to choose the Crafts Museum in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Hear+Art Project

It started with a desire to create something different, with an extraordinary set of people. It started as a simple act & response to design good in the world.

The team of Hear + Art Project have also invited people from art backgrounds, both from the hearing and the deaf communities, created teams and set them on a task of working on a combined artwork. Just imagine the possibilities, they are endless!

There are barriers Deaf artists face in finding a meaningful job, which often result from misconceptions about what they can and cannot do. This event believes in their capabilities & in the process of creating, sharing & learning together. A process of reaching out with love.

The full day event will showcase Sign languages session, painting workshops and many exciting DIY projects. The event gives access to a customised experience into the world of signs and art.

Come and join them in this walk to learning new things and unlearning the stereotypes.
