Building a business from scratch is something many people dream about but never attempt. It takes dedication, hard work, and often times sacrifices to grow to be successful. Many try and fail, and others never even try. Yet, despite the challenges, Shane Skaar took on the challenge of entrepreneurship and succeeded.
Shane Skaar and his co-founder Talston Stangler have created a clothing brand called Streignth Sportswear. While many people struggle to get into the clothing industry, Shane and his team have found themselves right at home in the middle of it. With an inspiring story behind the brand, and a message of positivity to go along with it, the brand has already become a popular choice in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where the company is currently based out of.
The success doesn’t stop there. Streignth has started to make a wave across the midwest in general. Not only that, but Shane has seen orders come in from all 50 states. Shane hopes to reach as many people as possible and build a community through the brand’s positive message.
Shane grew up with a rare chest condition that left him with low self-esteem. After a surgery to correct his condition, and dedicating himself to self-improvement through fitness, Shane learned that anything possible. As he started to build Streignth, he put a focus on motivating others to become the greatest versions of themselves physically and mentally in the same way that he improved himself after his surgery.
Shane tells us that seeing people endorse his brand and the brand’s message is by far the most rewarding part of his job. He hopes to continue making a positive impact on those who come into contact with Streignth. As Shane continues to grow his brand, he plans to publish content on YouTube packed with tips, tricks, workouts, behind-the-scenes, and more in hopes to motivate and entertain his community.
