Shah Rukh Khan, usually in the news for his roles as the quintessential Bollywood heartthrob, made to the papers for a totally different reason yesterday- he was recipient of the prestigious Crystal Award, presented by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
He made an extremely inspiring speech where he spoke candidly about his experiences working with acid and burn victims and was completely devoid of starry airs and graces.

SRK has proven himself to be the King of Hearts, and not just of the silver screen- his heartwarming empathy and work for these women and his understanding of their plight deserves to be applauded.
