There’s no doubt in the fact that A LOT of people watch porn. And till recently, we were only restricted to videos on screens as a source of viewing porn.

But that’s all set to change with many different forms on the brink of release. The most interesting of which is the virtual reality porn introduced by an adult entertainment website going by the name of BaDoinkVR.

Additionally, providing entertainment is not their sole purpose. In an attempt to break the mould set by the existing Adult websites, their objective is to, um, educate you apparently.

Yes, you read that right. Termed as ‘virtual sexology’, Badoink’s VR porn provides you with a 360-degree sex education experience through its VR headset. It was designed by marriage and family therapist Hernando Chavez to help men connect better with their real-life girlfriend or wife.

The main aim of virtual sexology is to make you better in bed. Now, who wouldn’t want that? It’s basically a form of sex therapy.

Many people refrain from sex therapy due to trivial reasons such as being embarrassed. For people like these, the VR sex therapy would help a lot since it’ll be in the privacy of their homes.

Chaves, the designer, has incorporated a variety of long-used technique in the therapy to help with issues such as premature ejaculation and performance anxiety.

It also includes breathing techniques to keep the user calm during sex since heightened sexual arousal can cause fear or self-doubt in people.

The virtual reality would help the users feel more empowered and confident which would, in turn, help them in actual reality and tackle anxiety.

Todd Glider, CEO of BaDoinkVR, said, “We want to make you a better, more attentive lover. Assuming it takes off, we’ll address premature ejaculation, impotence, fear of intimacy – for both men and women.”

Another forward thinking aspect of BaDoink’s virtual sexology is that it does not undermine the role of women during sex. Many hold the misconception that sex is all about men and their stroking and thrusting.

The VR involves women constantly active asserting themselves with a change in positions. The task of the man is to learn the female body and not manhandling her as a show of domination.

With such a strong case for its relevance, I’m completely convinced that this sort of virtual reality porn could go a long way in actually assisting people with their everyday ‘problems’.
