With the latest Avengers film, Avengers: Infinity Wars out just next week, the entire comic fandom has only been thinking of characters like Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America and more.

However, in the midst of all this frenzy, we forgot many of our own beloved Bollywood characters that are no less matched with any of these superheroes.

In a crazy streak of imagination, an artist called Prasad Bhat has reimagined the Avengers poster replaced with iconic Bollywood characters into a make-believe film called ‘Angaarey’.

The images took him about 2 weeks to create but somehow perfectly combines together the Avengers universe by casting Amrish Puri’s Mogambo as Thanos, Sunny Deol as Hulk, Jackie Shroff as Captain America, Anil Kapoor as Iron Man, Sanjay Dutt as Thor, Ajay Devgn as Black Panther, Naseeruddin Shah as Doctor Strange and Rekha as Black Widow.

Now let us take a look at the artist behind this awesome idea:

Prasad Bhat is the creator of this amazing concept and artwork of brilliantly putting 90s Bollywood actors in this avatar.

Founder of the company Graphicurry, a design studio, put his post on Facebook which has gotten a decent amount of virality with about 700 shares and over a 100 plus comments.

With a lot of the comments trying to guess exactly who is who, the most difficult one to guess being Black Widow and Naseeruddin’s character.

Bhat specializes in hand-drawn digital caricatures, a style which comes out spectacularly well in these images giving it a more humorous and personal feel.

Bhat, a 30-year-old from Mangalore, is an engineering graduate who found his passion for art and design which eventually prompted him to set up his own designing firm Graphicurry in 2010.

Having been included in the list of promising illustrators in India, his artwork is created from scratch entirely by the artist with some inputs from his team.

One thing I did notice was the affordability of the art, with this latest Angaarey wall art coming under the 1000 rupees bracket.

This is not the first time Bhat has given tribute to his interest, previously he has taken up shows and movies like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Django Unchained, Sherlock and more.

Having seen various such international artists doing this, it certainly feels good to see that Indian artists are not to be neglected and we too can create amazing stuff.

Also somehow the characterisation of each fits perfectly with the onscreen personality of each of the actor. Shroff’s Ram Lakhan character of Ram would be perfect for Cap, while his frenemy Lakhan, the wise-cracking and never taking things seriously lad as Iron Man could create a good chemistry between the two. Rekha as Black Widow would be entirely awesome to see and even Naseeruddin as Star-Lord. And who better for Hulk than our very own hand pump remover Sunny Deol. I for one would have loved to see this Indian adaptation.
