World Health Organization had declared novel coronavirus or COVID-19 a pandemic long back. Countries like China, Italy, Germany, Spain along with half of the world are facing the consequences of the massive outbreak of this virus.

But we Indians are yet to realise that we are in severe danger. While the Central Government has locked down the entire country to prevent community spread, the Telangana government was initially reluctant to manifest the law they themselves have brought up to prevent the virus from the outbreak.

But West Bengal and Kerala are dealing with COVID-19 quite differently and their approach to the global pandemic is undoubtedly remarkable.

During this crisis, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is setting an example by taking care of the people of her state like a loving yet firm mother. We can make fun of her slogans, her English accent or her weird statements, but in a few days, the 65-year-old has earned all the respect and love of the people of Bengal including mine (I am not aligned to any political party). Currently, the total number of COVID-19 infected people are 10 in West Bengal and Didi is working tirelessly to stop the massive outbreak of coronavirus in West Bengal.

Let’s take a look at what she has done so far to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19 in West Bengal.
